In other words, literally anybody can buy a kerb machine or slipformer, get themselves a business name and (hopefully) some insurances, and call themselves a kerbing contractor.

Experience
Hunter Kerb was established in 1986 by an already seasoned kerb layer, Andrew Struyf. Since then, Hunter Kerb has built a solid reputation for quality and service.
Hunter Kerb not only prides itself on it's workmanship but also safety. Hunter Kerb has $20 million public liability insurance and covers all employees by workers compensation. Hunter Kerb's pro-active safety policies have resulted in us regularly winning contracts in high risk areas such as mines, power stations and RTA work.
Kerb Crews and Equipment
Hunter Kerb has 19 employees (4 in the office), operating 3 kerb crews. Equipment includes 15 extruder kerb machines and a Gomaco slipmform machine with all current New South Wales moulds (and some Queensland and Victoria), including F-Type Barrier Wall (Jersey Kerb) and Cycleways of varying widths. We have three 10 ton Mitsubishi trucks with self-loading cranes, eliminating the need for you to have machinery on-site to transport the kerb machines around.
A regular, documented maintenance program for all trucks and machinery ensures reliability.
Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter & Beyond
We travel. Apart from the Hunter (including Singleton and Muswellbrook) and Central Coast, we lay kerb as far afield as Bathhurst, Orange, Dubbo, Mudgee, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Moree, Armidale, Tamworth, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Taree, Forster and everywhere in between.
